Discover Scuba Diving Marbella is designed for people who have never dived before and want a calm, supported first underwater experience. MarbsFUN helps you choose between the beginner PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience and the PADI Bubblemaker option for children aged 8–10.
The experience starts with a short basic briefing, then continues slowly in calm, shallow water with instructor support throughout. The focus is comfort, safety and confidence before enjoying a relaxed underwater adventure.
PADI Discover Scuba Diving
This is the best fit for complete beginners, couples, families and nervous first-timers who want to try scuba in Marbella without starting a full certification course. No previous diving experience is required.
Your experience begins with a short classroom-style briefing with the instructor. You will cover simple equipment basics, how to breathe underwater, easy hand signals and what to expect before entering the water.
The water session starts slowly in calm, shallow water. The instructor stays with you throughout, helping you feel safe, comfortable and confident before the experience continues as a relaxed underwater adventure.
There may be an opportunity to join a second boat dive, subject to the instructor’s discretion. This is not guaranteed and MarbsFUN will confirm suitable options before payment.
Deposit is €50 per person. Group pricing is 1 person €125 / €125 total, 2 people €110 pp / €220 total, 3 people €105 pp / €315 total, and 4 people €100 pp / €400 total.
PADI Bubblemaker
PADI Bubblemaker is designed for children aged 8–10 who want a fun, confidence-building first scuba experience in a safe, shallow-water setting.
Children learn how to use scuba equipment and breathe underwater with the help of a PADI professional. The experience uses a one-to-one instructor ratio so each child has close support.
Full price is €155 and the deposit is €50. If more than one child wants to join, MarbsFUN will confirm availability and setup by WhatsApp after the enquiry.

Booking & cancellation terms
- Payment: Full payment is required 4 weeks before the course or excursion. The payment method is confirmed during booking. Equipment replacement liability and mandatory insurance apply.
- Customer cancellation: If you cancel within 2 days of booking and more than 3 weeks before the start date, you receive a 50% refund. Cancellations more than 3 weeks before the start date after the first 2 days of booking are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Weather or operator cancellation: If environmental conditions or circumstances outside the dive provider’s control delay, change or cancel the activity, the dive provider arranges the first suitable alternative date.
- Late arrival / no-show: Cancellations within 3 weeks of the start date, no-shows, or missing a course date are at your expense and are not refunded. Changing an agreed course date incurs a €75 rescheduling fee.
